Omg definitely JPO in johor because of the selection of stores there! And if you earn in SGD, you can really benefit from the exchange rate. I can’t remember which video but I converted and the Coach in JPO is way cheaper than IMM for a duffle bag I was eyeing.

Yeah. Kitchen and toilet will be the one you spend most one. Living room and bed room you can still buy separate pieces of furniture to make it work. Will definitely do a video on this in the future, thank you for the recommendation. But as a general rule if thumb, try to make sure you don’t get too much carpentry above your line of sight to make a space look bigger and you can incorporate mirrors as well. I would recommend you do your bedroom wardrobe with Ikea or get a carpenter as you really want to maximise the space from floor the ceiling. Hope this helps!

Hi! Hope you enjoy your visit there. It really depends because the stores dont really have a sales assistant you can regularly reach out to like the normal stores. My advice is to go with an open mind because the stuff regularly changes. You can mainly expect past-season stuff but difficult to ascertain whether what you want will be there. Stores also get new stock every week or so.

hmm I did my reno during covid so took a few months! I would say factor in minimum 2/3 months because of these things: 1. You need to find a ID or contractor. A lot of back and forth, finalising designs and quotations which may take some time. You might take a bank loan which will take a week to approve around there. 2. Depends on how popular your ID or contractor is and the season.E.g. CNY season will have limited or no slots, which means you have to wait a month or two before they can start on your house. 3. Some furniture places do not have ready stock and will take time to order and ship to your place. I waited 3 weeks for some pieces Overall, the reno process takes a while.My best advice is to have a place to stay long after you get your keys so you won't be stressed by timelines to move in! Hope this helps.

Definitely to the first point. As for the aircon trunking I left it to the people installing it. Just have to plan its position so that it is near your toilet and where the ac ledge. For example instead of putting the one in my hall above the TV, i put it above a door so there's less trunking. But to each their own.

Yeah there’s something about the leather they used that makes it feel cheap. It does soften overtime but it isn’t as supple as some other brands haha. And yeah nowadays I buy some felt inserts online and add them to my bags for some organisation.

I just got mine and it really just doesn’t feel like the one in store so soft and slouchy. Did yours end up getting softer?

Oh that’s true! Having a lot of cabinetry makes a space look smaller and it’s more permanent. I think because my mum makes sambal and curry stuff which will make it very difficult to clean if our shelves were open but maybe having containers could be a good compromise.

Apparently there are different leathers for it because this one from the US was really rough compared to the SG smooth leather!!! Ooh that’s a toughie. It depends on what outfits you wear! I think if you wear more simple basics a jacquard would be a nice touch but if you tend to wear a lot of patterns then a simple ivory would go better. It’s up to you though!

@@kirshannmarcus oooh i see! do you think it’s glovetanned? so interesting there are 2 types! i am leaning towards the Jacquard since it’s so classic and i don’t have to worry about the leather!
